| Our big girl! Six months old already! |
How has it been six months already?! The summer has passed, September is here along with nice fall weather, and we have a little girl who is HALF a year old! It seems like just days ago we were coming home from the hospital with a tiny little bundled up baby that could fit comfortably on your forearm, and was happy to stay that way for hours. What happened?! Now she has more than doubled in weight, has amazing control of her body, and is definitely happiest when she is up exploring the world. It is truly amazing how fast a little baby grows and develops!
All of Attia's new-found skills have made this month so much fun! She has totally mastered sitting, which makes it much easier for her to play with her toys, and that makes for one happy girl. It also makes for one happy momma because she is able to sit and play while I get some things done!

Thanks to her new sitting perspective, she is interested in and able to play with all kinds of new toys. Suddenly balls and stacking toys are much more fun! Of course chewy teethers are still a favorite - but no teeth yet!
And new toys aren't the only thing that has sparked her interest! She used to be perfectly content to sit on one of our laps while we ate, but now she wants to grab EVERYTHING! Our plate, glass, can, fork, cookie - you name it! Time for 'solid' food!
