Attia's first Christmas was wonderful. We stayed home to celebrate this year, and we had a very nice, relaxing, and magical Christmas with our little family.
On Christmas Eve, Austin's parents came over in the afternoon to celebrate with us. We thought the tree was looking full with presents, but when Gram and Grump arrived the room was suddenly filled with gifts several times the size of Attia! She thought they were great to explore, and she went straight for the ribbons!
Of course she had to try out her new toys. She really liked riding on her new singing/rocking pony!
After exchanging gifts we enjoyed Gram's delicious cheesecake, and visited while Attia played with her toys. In the evening Gram and Grump went to take part in more Christmas activities with their other grandchild in Lawrence, Jack!
We spent the evening munching on caramel popcorn and Christmas cookies, and before bed Attia and I visited with the Christmas Elf.
We told him goodbye and wished him well on his return trip to the North Pole, and we also asked him to tell Santa that Attia had been a very good girl.
On Christmas morning it was evident that Santa had visited and Attia had indeed been a very good girl. But before opening presents Attia wanted to go for a pony ride.
Then she got into it and had a LOT of fun opening and playing with everything!

Even the pets got presents and Attia enjoyed helping Jack play with his.
